    Hi,

I've been reading many posts on here over the last few days, on numerous topics. I understand the rules do not permit asking which product is better than which etc, however, I would like some advice on the products I am using, and information on whether I could be better protected, if possible. I've also noticed that a number of products, some of which I use, get quite heavily criticised, and am keen to understand why. What I don't want to do, of course, is breach any forum rules, especially as a new member.

Am I allowed to list what I do use, and take advice on whether I am doing the right things in terms of security software, backups and maintenance programs? If a particular product is heavily frowned upon, I'd be interested in finding out how I can make a legitimate comparison while staying within the rules.

    Thanks!

    Ollie

One of the best ways to accomplish what you are looking for is to make a reply to the end of this thread:

    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/what-is-your-security-setup-these-days.111264

It's a very long, ongoing discussion about the security software members are running. You list what you are using and the concerns you have, and others will likely give you advice about it.

Don't worry about how long that thread is, it's the new posts made at the end that are important.
