    You download OA from regular link
    http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/oa/
    and then while installation you can chose which version you want to use...free it's under marked link (screenshot found in Google)

    The free version lacks some important (IMO) features. And since OA's life circle seems to be heavily dependent on how many people would buy the premium license, that'd be another good reason to put some funding into it.

    @EASTER
    Judging by your experience, you won't be liking the free version.

    @OP
    Try to take a look on DownloadCrew or Softpedia, they might have some promo of it.

    I opened the thread quite a while ago and had to buy from regular Emsisoft shop. Even though I like the software, it was hella expensive, and couldn't locate any promos either at the time.

    Btw as Graf said free version has quite a lot of limitations.

    Emsisoft states free and premium pretty much the same except for advanced features of HIPS and banking mode: http://support.emsisoft.com/topic/12457-oa-free-vs-premium/.

    BTW - there is only about a $10 U.S. price difference between Internet Security and Online Armor. Appears to me the way to go is EIS since many other AVs have conflicts with Online Armor.

    OA has been left along the road side, EIS is what is being worked on.
    Unfortunate.

    The prices change from region to region AFAIK, also bear in mind the topic was opened two months ago (the prices may have changed). And those I was after those advanced HIPS features.

    Actually, I would like to purchase but at $39 U.S. that is just to high a price for a one year license for firewall software alone. I have Emsisoft Anti-malware paid and Emsisoft doesn't cut you any slack if you also want to purchase Online Armor.

    a matter of time as usual. thats reason i never spend some money on such big players instead niche products. since it was clear that emsisoft take over OA i did not renew my license. emsisoft needed to decide which one of their hips would survive - ofc the decision was more than clear.
