Those are good. Also Jotta Cloud. OneDrive also fully encrypts these days. I think SpiderOak is a honeypot. I had strange activity with it installed, including multiple WOL polls each night. Couldn't remove it fast enough!
How to encrypt with OneDrive? I have 1 TB of storage that I got for free with my Office 2013 365 subscription
Mega and shared.com are the two of the most secured cloud storage services that I know of. I have used both. They're secure and offer good free storage spaces.
OneDrive's encryption is almost plausible encryption like other providers. Say, if I upload child porn, my account will be banned unless I locally encrypted it before upload. You don't need to upload such ethically unacceptable thing to test it, I know numerous reports that uploading sth which can be seem to be similar to that caused ban. What can be alternattive depends on your needs and usage. I use Cyphertite tho it doesn't offer sharing but it's encryption part is open source (note: ONLY encryption part) and I think it's robust. Only problem is its slow in both for upload and download. SpiderOak OTOH, as already mentioned, not open source yet. One of its advantage is it offers 2FA, but only for US resident. Also it offers Android app but this app only allow you to view uploaded contents, no ability to upload. Wuala's virtue is it stores your contents distributed in various places in Europe so even if one of it was compromised and encryption was somehow broken, still most part of your data would be safe. But I once found complaints about their SSL implementation which was weak and the request for them to address this had been ignored, but somehow I now can't find the post. Does they renewed their support page? Also desktop version installs java. I use Wuala only for Android which works pretty well. I tried Tresorit too, but 2MB of upload limits is almost deal-breaker for me.
OneDrive now has unlimited storage. OneDrive is encrypted in transit, and on Microsoft Servers. However your photos are DNA scanned for things like YUKI mentioned. However, you can install VIIVO on your system (It's free) and seamlessly add incredibly unbreakable encryption to OneDrive. So everything you drop into OneDrive is then fully encrypted inside an already encrypted system! https://viivo.com/ I use OneDrive since it has unlimited storage now, and everything is automatically encrypted another layer with Viivo. Very simple, and free with my home site-license to Office 365.
I also use Tresorit (actually just purchased their premium plan), and I am quiet happy with it. I chose them because of their mobile apps: they offer a pretty usable mobile experience. I also tried spiderOak and wuala before but abandoned both of the because of poor mobile apps (no upload, limited sharing, bugs, etc). (I also use bitlocker to encrypt my laptop's hard drive. (just in case my stuff gets stolen + I have remote wipe for important files on my phone because of tresorit)
