I need a better cable router w/VoIP to replace my Xfinity router. Right now I have a Cisco Model DPC3939 and the range is horrible. I'm just two rooms away and it effects my speed greatly. I don't want to get a extender.

    Any good suggestions?

DX2, on that same thread, MrBrian Posted his final choice. I bought the same TP-Link router during the Black Friday sales, and it has been running splendidly since. I recommend it as well.

It doesn't have a coaxial cable plugin

Ah, I see you're looking for a combo, and yes, my suggestion is just a plain wireless router, with no coaxial cable plugin.

If you're a Comcast customer, it doesn't seem that you have too many options: Comcast-Supported Routers, Gateways and Adapters.

Yes, seems bleak for sure. I might just buy another router, use the Xifinity router just for VoIP and disable Wifi on it.
