It kind of drove even me crazy let alone what it would do to my wife. Blur wasn't your dad's DoNot... I should have never removed DoNot... Is there anything you can recommend for Firefox that is silent. The one thing that I did discover about DoNot... is that it prevented opening video at weather.com. Mostly though it didn't seem to have many issues with sites. Thank you!
I've used Disconnect for quite some time. Seems to be doing the job with no problems at all. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/disconnect/versions/
In Ghostery go to options and select Advertising and Privacy (by default it doesn't block, only informs).
Thank you, as I'm loving this. I even reinstalled Blur without any conflicts and being on x64 system (8gigs RAM) with an SSD and fast internet I cannot discern any performance hit.
Blur is awesome. The virtual masked phone numbers, emails, etc. make it a huge player in the industry. Solid people behind the company as well.
