I use Drive every now and again for simple files that I have no real concern about, but I've been noticing that the background page (in the shot) runs, even if I haven't been to drive itself and would like to know at least why it's running? I end the task, but when I reopen the browser it starts back up. A search didn't' reveal much info on this so I thought I'd take it to the boards. Anyone else experiencing this and/or know how to disable it

Found the culprit, I must have added the drive app at some point, so I just went to Chrome://Apps and removed it, problem solved
