I never had serious problems with Windows Updates. Now this is like the 5th "botched" update that was yanked I've installed successfully...
I've got that one on two of my Win7 64bit machines. Not having any issues, so I'm just going to leave it alone for now.
No problems here. Win7, 64, Home Premium. The followup bulletin clearly states only if you are having problems should you remove the update at this point. https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2949927
Never saw KB2949927, however, KB3000061 & KB2984972 mentioned in the article, installed without issues (Win7 64-bit).
It is installed on my system. No problems, as yet. Assuming that this is the only indication that this patch has to be removed ==> ' KB 2949927 causing multiple reboot-rollback problems on certain machines.'
Hopefully they stop being retarded on January, or else I'll have to rearrange my updating schedule up until May 2015.
They're too busy with 10 I guess. To tell you the truth I haven't been updating since August. Don't feel like taking the risk.
Maybe you're right, but they have more OS's to support, and customers to take care of by releasing stable updates, than only focusing on developing Win 10. Haha yeah, I don't blame you for not updating
I installed KB2984972, no problem in W7 32 bits. None of the other updates mentioned here was offered when I visited Windows update, yesterday. Bo
