kerish doctor 2014 is so buggy thats unbelievable for a paid product

I tried kerish doctor 2014 trial as it looked like an excellent software with great set of tools and proactive detection of all pc problems and optimization. But the software kept crashing with every fuction i tried to use. Never seens a paid application of this type this much buggy and being paid software was shocking.

Anyone else use this software or know about it and had these "the kerish doctor stopped working" windows popup?

 

I've used Kerish Doctor on and off for the last 8 1/2 years. I find it to be somewhat useful (but registry cleaner has some very minor problems with false positives) and have never encountered the issues you have. I suggest you contact the developer. He should be able to help you. When I very first installed Kerish many years ago, it told me that trial had expired, despite not having had it previously installed. I posted on their forum and eventually an updated version was released that worked for me.

 

I just tried this on 2 computers. I REALLY love what it offers.

Problem? It worked fine on one machine, but the second machine I tried it on it crashed with EVERY function I tried - like you. So this appears to be a widespread issue with the product. Sadly I was ready to purchase 10 computer licenses for it, but uninstalled it instead. I guess I will stick to Glary for now as Glary is free (with EaseUS pro license), and never crashes. If they fix the bug we both encountered, I'd consider buying a few licenses, as it appears to be exceptional!

 

I suggest you contact Kerish and they should be able to offer a solution. I've run this on several computers with no issues.

 

I probably should, as I would like it resolved so I could properly test it, and possibly purchase it.

Clearly it's not an isolated error.

 

I sent in a note to tech support, and opened a thread on their forums. I don't use the product, but this error needs to go away.

Kerish has been unable to diagnose this problem with the above dump.

So I am working with Kerish tonight using a debug tool to try and isolate this. I will update the thread after we find out what the problem is, and then hopefully have a fix for you. I'm likely going to purchase 10 licenses to Kerish if they fix this, I rather like this program!

 

I also like the programn from what I saw and I also have send several debug logs per their instructions to see if they can fix the issue and posted on their forum with snapshots of the problems. By the way guys there is a giveaway of 3 years license of it right now that is less then 24 hours left.

I do not know what to do. if they are late in fixing this issue and the giveaway ends then my license will become useless? SO I am stuck on weather keep it installed and registered and see if they fix the issue or give up on it.

what operating center you have on 2 machines? and 32bit or 64bit? Maybe some issues with some hardwares??

mine is windows 7 64bit amd dual core with 7GB of ram and 1TB of harddrive and nvidia graphics.

 

64-Bit Win 8.1.1 Ultimate, all machines. Same hardware.

I will run some logs tonight, but it's possible I will reformat it as that particular machine is overdue for a flatten.

Load Kerish, go into Program Settings, General, then turn on Debug mode. Exit program, load it, then make it crash. Check Debug, and send to Support@kerish.org

In my case, on the spare machine it appears to be a corrupt system DLL - specifically Task Scheduler DLL. I will wait to see if Kerish offers a fix. But I ordered a new SSD drive for that machine and plan to flatten it after installing the SSD. Something I have been meaning to do anyway.

 

Anyone know what the malware protection in Kerish entails? I can see it has a sort of Registry/Host monitor. Also I noticed it downloads AV signatures everyday by default.

Just wondering what's under the hood.

Same. They have all of the logs, and error codes. Hopefully they can inform me of a fix tomorrow. I only have 1 machine, out of 10 exhibiting this error.

 

with me this is the only machine that I have and it exhabiting the error. since my giveaway 3 years license will expire with the giveaway expiration tommorow, I do not know should I install and register the faulty kerish doctor before the giveaway is over and wait for a fix or risk loosing the 3 years license. Do not know what to do.

 

Install and register the faulty one, it will save your machine data, so you can reinstall it later after giveaway is over. Same issue as you, also if I reformat, it will kill the giveaway, so I don't anticipate the giveaway lasting 3 years on all of my machines.

I will likely purchase some licenses later, I really like the program so far!

 

i managed to activate it and register it although as soon as I registered it it crashed. But got it registered. Damn can not understand why on some machines it does that. I even send them snapshots of the errors and my pc event log. hope with their kerish doctor log and pv event log and snapshots they can make head or tail out of this.

I have reported 2 major bugs with Kerish Doctor.

I worked with their engineers to solve one of them, which was pushed through during last nights update. You MAY need to manually download and re-install the full version from their website, depending on your system. But that bug has been fixed. The second bug I am still working with their engineers to try and isolate it. I've sent them numerous diagnostics, logs, and debugger reports. I'm going to recommend that they add me to their beta team.

 

well I upgraded my windows to 8.1 and at first kersh doctor worked normally and all ran good. But soon after running in depth scan and optimizing using kersh doctor suggestion, then bingo I got system error 7001 and kersh doctor started the same crash method again. I fixed the errors that were caused by kersh doctor on the newly formatted win 8.1 and still kersh doctor went to crashing. SO I uninstall it. I think even working this software is a bet dangerous. It caused its own issue by fixing and optimizing. I am now a bet scared or hesitant to sue it as it may cause more damage to the windows.

By the way the windows error kersh doctor caused were detected by glarysoft disc scan and fixed them.

 

It updated itself to the new version via it's own update function in my case.

 

just becarful guy and go through what it finds and suggest and just do not click blindly to fix or optimize. Also check your event log via event viewer after running kerish doctor.

 

I think you will find that the problems you had are not typical for Kerish Doctor, it is generally very safe to use.

Kerish won't be the cause of the disk errors.

 

I am willing to test it again. But it seems their download server has issues as its has slowed down unbelievably. its saying it will take over 30 minutes to download it.
