Other than a few visual & functionality tweaks I have never felt any differences between various Firefox/Chromium clones.

Cyberfox's updating mechanism could have done better. There is an optional standalone update manager created by the author, but it's basically just the same with manually downloading the full installer, the file size is not any smaller. Besides, it didn't work in my computer. The download completed but it never initiate the install. Aside from that, I am very happy with this fork. Honestly this and Pale Moon are the only two web browsers I would use these days.

I used to use Pale Moon and loved the fact that all my add-ons work perfectly on it. After the recent updates, many addons such as IDM stopped working.

    How is Cyberfox? 2 questions:

    1) Is the interface like Firefox Australis or the retro Firefox interface? If it is also Australis interface, then why would I choose it over Firefox?

    2) Is it compatible with all Add-ons for Firefox?

Just tried to download it to test and both the website installer and the Sound Forge Link still download v32! Great!

Strange occurrence, I downloaded the installer through SF mirror last night and I got version 33.0.1.

Its basically an x64 version of Firefox and shares the underlying Mozilla code and framework.

As such its suitable for running on an X64 processor and Windows version.

I thought they did have an x86 version on their site as well?!

I have no interest for an x64 browser as IETAB will not work with flash based websites if the browser was 64-Bit

Just installed it and made it look like the old Firefox but with its darker theme obviously! It's very very fast and works with all add-ons unlike Pale Moon:

I'm sure it isn't compatible with every extension but damn close and with the Ff Classic Theme Restorer extension you can ditch Australis if you desire. I digress: to the poster that mentioned IE Tab issues, I've never experienced one!
I Speed-Battle Cyf, Ff and IE frequently. IE 11, although it seems really fast (my system is on an SSD), scores less than 700 usually. Ff usually scores about the same as Cyf, which is usually above 1400, reason being is that browsers really don't use much RAM (I have 8 gigs) so you normally won't see a benefit from a x64 browser. However, having said that, the beauty of Cyf is that Troy Smith (toady on his site) is so dedicated, it's like he's working for you! Literally, if you post a question or an issue, if he's awake, which is probably 16 hrs/day, he'll respond immediately.
When I first started using it and before Ff's major change to Australis, he'd have a new Cf version available before Ff had it available via the Ff browser. The code now is much more complicated so it takes him from one to a couple three days to release new versions.
Back when he was a one man show, I asked him if I could donate but his reply was "absolutely not!" It appears he may have some help now as some times I notice his posts include the word "we."
Anyway, if you think you'd like your own "personal" browser, with almost instant support, give it a whorl, although don't expect any noticeable performance gains!

    1) IETAB works on Cyberfox x86 :) it doesn't work on x64 but that is not Cyberfox's issue

    2) Speedwise, forget about that browsers battle test, how snappy pages load is what appeals to me, with that said, Google Chrome is the fastest followed by IE followed by FF/Cyberfox/Pale Moon but I don't care as I cannot and will not use Google Chrome since its WYSIWYG editor doesn't work on vBulletin 3 forums so if I were to copy a post and paste it, it would only paste it as plain text thus, to my it's a battle between Cyberfox and IE.

Your #1) IE Tab does work x64! It has never not worked and that is all I use, Cyf x64. Like all things Ff, sometimes there are some sites where their "forms" don't render correctly in Cyf/Ff so I'll have to click IE Tab icon up in my menu bar to fill in the data. Did you even try Cyf x64 and install that extension? Actually, I moved my Ff profile to Cyf (one of toady's tools) so I really never needed to install it. Can't imagine that makes any difference though, especially since numerous extensions I have installed (I try a lot, end up removing them then after realizing I don't need them!) always function normally. I definitely use x64!

Operating System Win64, Windows NT 6.1
    Browser Netscape, Mozilla/5.0 Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:33.0 Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0 Cyberfox/33.0.2

Sorry it DOES work but for ME it doesn't, try playing this game by signing into your Microsoft account:

    http://zone.msn.com/en/spades/default.htm

It will install a few things, then it will fail, not Cyberfox's fault, just doesn't work with an x64 browser and thus forces me to stick to x86 :(

Cyberfox updated to v33.0.3 just hours after Mozilla released Firefox 33.0.3 and now comes with preset defaults to easily switch between classic interface or Australis interface along with hardware acceleration improvements
