Everything I try to download with Google Chrome, it mention malicious download. Checked the system with Comodo KillSwitch, HitmanPro, MBAM & Bitdefender. Nothing malicious found. Reinstalled Google Chrome & same prob. What could be the prob?
False Positives and aggressive detection. That's another reason why I keep Internet Explorer 11. What are you trying to download?
Your system has been infected. I can't remember what the malware is named, but initially it only affected Internet Explorer, but later versions of it also affected Chrome. The early version of it was able to be removed with Hitman Pro (MBAM did not detect it at the time). I'm nut sure if it was Hitman Pro or something else that I used to remove on a system where Internet Explorer was compramised too. Maybe try AdwCleaner.
That won't help, as narenbisht said that everything he downloads is being flagged as malicious. It's not a problem with Chrome itself, but due to a malicious addon. It Chrome is affected, then IE will amost certainly display the same behaviour.
We don't clearly know if narenbisht's system is truly infected, alright. Straightly jumping into the declaration of a malware infection can be dangerous. First thing first, do the most gentle troubleshooting step, then proceed to the riskier step when the more gentle step doesn't work. It can be that narenbisht downloaded software from one source and it happens that the website was being listed in Google's blacklist. Disabling the malware and phishing protection can also be done to see if it will fix the problem. Well fine, try to download the files in incognito mode.
Updated HitmanPro & MBAM detected few PUP registry entries & cleaned them. But this didn't solved the prob. The prob was only with Chrome. IE was fine. Anything downloaded from anywhere with Chrome, Chrome mentioned malicious software. No malicious addon under Chrome Extentions. Chrome reinstall also didn't solve the prob. I have uninstalled Chrome for now.
In Chrome go to Settings, then Advanced Settings, and RESET Chrome. That should fix this issue. Uninstalling/Reinstalling it doesn't fix it because it leaves the profile folders alone unless you manually remove them from the users local/roaming directories, or you use something like REVO during the uninstall, or use Google's tool. Reset works in 90% of the cases I have seen this as it removes all plugins/extensions, and resets it to a default state.
I would say to try downloading the files with the malware and phishing protection disabled first, if didn't work then use GSRT, if didn't work then reset Chrome.
