Tried a trial version of BIS. During uninstall gave the option to keep BitDefender 60-Second Virus Scanner.
Since I'm running another free AV on this PC I like having it. Anybody even heard of this? It's not BD TrafficLight it's a 2nd opinion virus scanner. I think though it might have some realtime ability, I'm not sure. Certainly not to replace a full time AV. I like it.

Yeah, it seems to work well and I guess it is more of a "stop gap" than something designed to be run as a permanent AV - after all it is only an on demand scanner. Also it has been known to annoy some people after uninstalling BD as the little box to uncheck if you don't want it is easy to miss. :)

60 second is a bit of a cheat as it scans in that time but you have to hang around whilst it checks the scan results with the cloud.

When you uninstall this software, it lets you dozens of useless keys in the registry.
Not surprising from a Bitdefender product.

Quite a few products do this as well (Emsisoft, Trend Micro come to recent memory - tried them today)

I find great usage in Revo Uninstaller for cleaning crap like this up. Great program.
