    Hi Maxthon guys,

    Today, we are thrilled to announce the release of the 4.4.1.5000 Final version.

    This Final version aims to fix some crash problems.

    Please try it out and let us know if you have any comments or suggestions.

    Apparently they've improved the adblocker and there is a PDF plug-in.

    Is there no way to use ABP or something similar?

    I don't think so. There are some user scripts on the Mx site somewhere. I opened Photobucket in Mx just and was pleasantly surprised at how many it caught. I'm normally on my guard there even with Firefox, NoScript and ABP/ABE!

    I guess I will have to try it out and see how the built-in adblocker works...

    It is improving, I've never been too sure how to add new rules to it, and I wish they would bring the content blocker back. They claim this will indeed be added back at some point.

    Regarding the AdHunter I noticed that although it was enabled the "subscribe to AdHunter rules" was not by default.

    Yes, that is the default I believe. Not sure why, but in the past there were a lot of user rule-lists compiled and it might be a throwback to when that was the only real option.
