Does anyone know of any way of making Office 2013 compatible with Vista operating system? Just wondering. Maybe it might make sense to update from Vista to Windows 7 if there is no other option.

USA still the best. But barely.
Ime stop punishing yourself with Vista. Get W7 or Linux.

I don't know of a way, but I'm curious about why you want to use Office 2013? I found it hard on the eyes; the UI is low contrast and cannot be changed so I went back to Office 2010.

I just like some of the new features compared to 2010. I am noticing, though, that PowerPoint 2013 takes longer to load than 2010.

Yup and 2010 takes longer to load than 2007 which takes longer than Office XP. That's why I stick with Office XP which loads instantaneously for me and doesn't turn my computer into a portable heater.
