Kingsoft av

I wonder if anyone is using this Kingsoft free antivirus version http://www.kingsoft.co/kav.php it is the same one who gets fantastic results at Vb100 https://www.virusbtn.com/vb100/RAP/RAP-quadrant-Oct13-Apr14-1200.jpg.

Is it still compatible with other Av`s like the old variant of Kingsoft was - on their homesite there is no info about it but on the net some sites says it is - anyone know for shure ?

 

Wasn't it discontinued after the cloud version was released? It's still BETA.

 

That link is from 2010 so it`s the earlier version that was replaced by 2012 which is no longer being developed but still gets sig updates.I remember that this version was compatable with other av`s.

The one that did well in the vb100 is the Chinese version that is still in development.

Maybe time to learn a little Chinese pb1 ?

After i posted here i tried to download it and it came as a sound file that wanted to open in media player - w.t.f - to my big surprise - so i dug deeper in to the thing and learnt what you have written above .

I speak chinese - ching chong - see - !

This thread can now fade away and die since the mysterie and confusion with Kingsoft av is solved .
