Guys -
Can I ask if you are using Premium?

Because I have not figured out how to avoid 'Open Candy' in the free version.[EULA appears to mention it]

If not present in the Premium, maybe I need to anti-up.

When purchasing Burnaware, should I get Premium or Professional?

 

I don't wish to put a dampener on this thread, but burning applications are almost dead.
The optical disc is yesteryear. Move on.

 

Can't really see a reason for spending the extra money on the Pro version unless you're going to use the software in a commercial setting (or for commercial purposes) and/or need to burn images to multiple drives simultaneously.

You should choose "Custom Installation (Advanced)" and then uncheck the two boxes below that, as shown in the screenshot.

 

Open Candy is pretty harmless if you have an outgoing firewall enabled. It doesn't employ any dirty tricks but it does connect to the internet, hence the need for a firewall to avoid its effects. So no need to avoid a a good application because of it
