Can I use a new (unused) BitDefender 2015 Total Security license on BitDefender 2015 Internet Security instead?

Just bought TS cause it was way cheaper than IS. Don't want or need the extras in TS. And I'd rather just install IS to avoid the extras altogether.

Edit: BD CSR will change license for me. Color me thankful.

I had this issue in the past. You have to email them and they will downgrade it for you.

TY. Thought I was sorted, verbally CSR said ok. Got an email saying no. I sent another email. So it's hope, wait & see.

Nope not sorted. But I did get a BIS 2015 license. My initial impressions are very good. As the GUI is simple & comprehensive. And I can turn off everything I don't like.

Don't know what your objection is to free online storage, anti-theft (Locks, wipes, or locates your device), and file encryption ability(Locks files in an encrypted vault on your PC) which may be able to be avoided if a custom install is offered. While it may take some extra space would not add to cpu load when not actually in use.

BD's online Retail Price for BDTS is 10 dollars more than IS. You must have gotten a sweet deal somewhere.

Also sorry to hear you bought an IS License. Softpedia is offering a free 9 month license for BD IS 2015:

"We are giving away an unlimited number of keys without any competition, so everybody wins. The license availability is 9 months. All you have to do is access this landing page and follow the instructions."
