    Hello,

I have used hdsentinel for years on my hard drives with some success but i do not know how reliable it is for picking up failures on SSDs.

Does anyone have experience with the program with SSDs?

Or are there any recommendations for SSD health monitoring programs?

I cant see alignement when going through the details.

Doesn't your manufacturer provide something? Here is what you get with Kingston and can't imagine what else one would need. Toward bottom is SMART READ DATA. Drive is over three years old.

Sadly Verbatim and Crucial did not supply any manufacturer disk health tools.
I did check their websites and still nothing :(

I do not want to hijack this thread, so please forgive me, but is there a tool like that for a Samsung Pro SSD? Thanks in advance.

To confirm alignment and trim try AS SSD Benchmark. For SMART and temperature monitoring I also use Crystal Disk Info which seems to work just fine.

    Wow, thank you Romagnolo1973 !
I thought the shop had installed things, but after your post I discovered that there is indeed that CD in one of those boxes (ough) with that Samsung Magician software. Ohh, bloody shame on me!! (more to learn and discover for me ...). Thanks!

Always go through all the CD's that were provided with the PC, in the event that something wasn't installed as staff sometimes only choose a bare minimum or what the build spec sheet indicated in order to ship the PC as serviceable.
