I recently upgraded from ESET v6 to v7. When I did so, I noticed that some of the modules still have the same version as v6. I've tried searching online, but I don't think I'm asking the right question, so I'll try here: How can I know that my modules are updated? Does ESET have something on their site that I can compare which module versions are most recent?

I believe the modules are common between all supported versions.

You may copy your product modules back here for ESET Staff to respond.
Ensure that Update Mode is configured as above.

They are updated automatically, the products check and then update the modules via the update servers if there are new ones available. They are updated when they need to be updated, so it can be a year or months in between each update for some of the modules that don't need to be updated as often. But no, there is no list online you can compare against.

siljaline, afaik those settings are for PCU updates (program component updates) incase ESET releases one, not for the module updates wich can be seen in the About window.

Thanks for this FanJ ! This is what ESET would be wanting to see:
In my case from ESET Endpoint AV version 5.0.2229.1

*Note Bolded represents what user has noted as being newer than since the last time I looked.

Swex has answered your questions correctly. If you expect ESET staff to reply to a post, please post in the official ESET forum at https://forum.eset.com.

I didn't expect a response from anyone specific. I just wanted to know if they offered something so that I can ensure that I'm up to date. Apparently, the answer is no.

There is indeed no site at ESET where you can check it; that is exactly the reason why I posted the info in reply # 6.

At this moment (emphasis on the words "at this moment") it is:

    NOD32 7.0.317.4

(no pre-release updates enabled in NOD32)

    Virus signature database: 10087 (20140712)
    Rapid Response module: 4395 (20140712)
    Update module: 1051 (20140409)
Antivirus and antispyware scanner module: 1431 (20140623)
    Advanced heuristics module: 1151 (20140609)
    Archive support module: 1205 (20140617)
    Cleaner module: 1094 (20140530)
    Anti-Stealth support module: 1060 (20140514)
    ESET SysInspector module: 1241 (20140410)
    Real-time file system protection module: 1006 (20110921)
    Translation support module: 1225 (20140617)
    HIPS support module: 1133 (20140606)

Although the modules are compatible between all products and all versions, there's a difference in how quickly they are distributed to particular servers. For instance, modules are first released to v7 pre-release servers followed by all pre-release servers, then they go to v7 servers and just then to all other servers, including those that serve updates for business products. Plus there are other quality-ensuring mechanisms to ensure that in a very unlikely case of a faulty module only the bare minimum of users will receive it. That said, users may have various module builds installed at a time.
