    hi

i used the anti root kit scanner v1.07.0.1008 on my windows xp pro system and noticed a curious thing.

quite some time ago i purchased some dvds that were from another region and found they would not play on my dvd player. so i used a ripper to convert to ntsc and burned them and that was successful.

the curious thing is that using anti root kit (scan occasionally) i saw listings of those file names of the dvds but the info on where they were located was so fast i could not see where on my system they were being scanned.

a search for those named files and found nothing.

i know this is pretty odd, but i was curious why deleted (removed the temp program docs&settings stuff) but was wondering where anti root kit was scanning them still on system somewhere.

is there some way to see a complete text listing of everything scanned. the scan text files show little?

    thanks for any input.

thanks but i discovered the problem.

the temp folder contents were deleted but the folders remained. that is why the file names scanned.

    thanks

    used malwarebytes and kaspersky

kaspersky did not list anything (empty folders but malwarebytes did...had to search in temp folder visually to find them.

    thanks....will get Gmer also
