    Hello all,
Evidently time flies - it's coming up on four years since the acquisition of Prevx! The users here at Wilders have been absolutely instrumental to the success of our product and I can't thank everyone enough for how much help they've given to beta testing, ongoing support, and feedback on our software and to me personally since I first signed up here in 2008, some 8,200+ posts ago.

With the migration of Prevx users to Webroot now complete, we feel it is time to move the primary support forum over to the Webroot Community as well. Webroot has established a dedicated Community where a large number of users and Webroot employees frequently post. Ideas can be passed on to the development and product management teams directly and we have a great deal of knowledge base content available.

I know many of you are signed up over at the Community already but for those who are not, here is the link to get started:

    https://community.webroot.com/

Thanks again for your constant support! :thumb:

Pity! I find the Wilders Forum layout much more user-friendly than the Webroot Community Forum. With Wilders I can instantly see, regardless of the topic, which threads have had the most recent input. This function just doesn't exist in the Webroot Forum (unless I've missed something??). As a result, the Webroot Community Forum is far more complicated to navigate.

I have to definitely concur with Muddy3. I am registered at Webroot, but I seldom go there because I find their forums too complicated or difficult to navigate. I love the ability here to click on "new posts" and I get a list of the new posts since the last time I was here. I have not found the ability to do so at Webroot.

    Same here.
It's not practical to have 2 different forums, but I just like this one more.

I am not registered at their forums, because I preferred not.

Their forums look just too blingy, for me. Too intimidating, in style.

    A sad day.

Well we all knew that this day would come sooner or later and it's been terrific and Prevx does continue to live in WSA the Community is a great place and very friendly! It's been my pleasure to work with Joe all these years and of course all of you!

I agree with previous posts. In the future I'll keep in contact with support if any problem occurs. Sad to see this forum part close! I'll miss discussing ideas and problems!

Thank for all the time you've spent here at Wilders Joe!

Thanks for all this time Joe (and everyone else) and good luck. :thumb: But what a pity indeed, though it does make sense only having one forum. I do read through the WR forums sometimes and maybe I will sign up we'll see. I just like it better here. :)

Yes but we all wished it would come a lot later. It's been a great journey with you Joe here on the Wilders Forum and I wish you the best. Thank you for all your help. :thumb:

Many thanks for the time you have devoted to various Wilders threads and discussions and to this forum in particular Joe. It's been a pleasure to communicate with someone who is always polite and has always answered posts in an informative and helpful manner.
However, while I appreciate that it makes sense to concentrate on the one forum (Webroots) I have to concur with Muddy3

    and also with Tarnak

I am afraid I find that Webroots forum is a total mess and unnecessarily complicated. I have never come across a forum (and I am active in several and lurk in more that are far removed from the computer world) that is so confusing to try and navigate.
Whatever happened to straightforward simplicity like we have at Wilders for instance.

No. I just can't stand the muddled layout of that forum - and the light green text is so difficult to read. Think I'll pass on that.

The light green are Hyperlinks the rest is black unless someone changes the color!

Does it matter which text is illegible? It's still bad design.

Well maybe for some of you but I have been there over 2 years and have no issues on the Community.

Damn! Anyway thank you Joe for being around here for a very long time, it was appreciated. :thumb: :)

No thanks to the official forum though, sorry, but it's a mess. I'll just contact support instead.

Nice attitude from a "Prevx Forum Helper". Have a good weekend (and don't forget to take your medication).

    @PrevxHelp and @Triple Helix

Joe, Daniel and the many other helpers here, Thank You very very much for all the amazing and generous Support you've always given here. I knew this would, inevitably happen, and it's kinda sad to see this section close, and although the Webroot Community is fine, per se, it'll never replace this happy little corner of Wilders.

All good things come to an end. Presumably these Prevx fora will be locked as times change...... just as Joes Prevx predecessors, Paul Stokes,Daniel(ex Jo'berg) have done in the past. I've been registered for around 10yrs and with exception of one initial TDS thread the last 6yrs have followed Prevx religiously on this site.......
Excellent forum (far more readable than Webroots Lithium based alternative), superlative support, but sadly holds little other interest for me without Prevx/Webroot and official support.
Wish Joe the best i.... along with others contributors not migrating to WSA site forums.

I knew this day would come. I'm sad.:( The Webroot Community is great. But there will be nothing like the PrevX sub-forum here in the Wilders. It's the best.

Thanks to Joe, Daniel and many other contributors to this sub-forum who have helped so many users like me over the years. Thank you for all your efforts. I wish Joe the very best.:)

I´m not a Webroot user, but I´ve checked out the forum, and it´s really slow on old PC´s. Besides that, it´s unhandy, and ugly looking. I really don´t know what´s up with website/system designers nowadays. :thumbd:

The Webroot forum isn't that bad....and you get to harass Daniel (TH). To quote that famous Toy Story philosopher, "To infinity and beyond"......

    Ya
Thx to Webroot staff who have been patient and damn effective through all the kibbly bits we may have raised.
LOL, having passed through the pit of fire : now on to 'greener' pastures.

sadly i very MUCH agree. first eset now webroot. very sad day for wilders been a member here for so long and without many of these sub forums i hate to think it will become a shell of its former glory. i love this forum. and i also very much dislike just about everything about the webroot forums. i find in unorganized and i also hate "kudos" type forums. ill visit but on a rare occasion and ive tried to like it more than a few times. even after the changes wilders is still one of the nicest laid out forums around and just so quick to navigate. we appreciate everything you did here at wilders joe!!!!
