Noted. This is a different test than the title of that thread though. IMHO, when there are separate but related items, the best thing to do is have a separate thread for each item, and if desired post hyperlinks to those related threads.

F-Secure pretty high up there.

 

No Kaspersky, no party.

 

They sort of make up for it in the PUA detection. They've actually caught a lot of stuff malwarebytes misses in the last couple of computers I've cleaned.

 

Now that i think of it, Emsisoft went from insane FPs to almost nothing. Good job!

 

MSE 90 % and 1 FP, nice.

 

They have always done well in static file detection.

 

Norton never take part of this test , just like comodo because they are not best friends with AVC group

 

No afaik it's more or less that Symantec don't want to participate in all of the tests. I believe it works like a "test serie" meaning a vendor can't just pick the RWPT but drop out on the File Detection test. It's all or nothing wich I personally think is fair.

 

And also because they say that these file detection tests are meaningless (They got low scores before pulling out).
