I sent a PM (Conversation) to two members, both replied, and I replied back to one ( I think) because as I look at the Conversation list, my reply doesn't have a Sender.

Does this mean my reply went to both participants?

I misspelled Conversation in the title, but I see no option to change that when editing.

Thanks! Is there a way for members to edit the Thread Title?

Whoever is list under "Conversation Participants" on the right side of a Conversation ("PM") sees all messages in the Conversation.

I have found it best if you think about conversations as simply threads that are visible only to a small number of people. The concept holds up really well as you view it growing into pages and you read it exactly as you would a thread.

I'm looking into the thread title editing thing. The problem is that vBulletin restricted thread title edits to only a brief period after the thread was posted, at most 1 hour. This was to keep consistency as people were replying over time. Here, with the title actually in the link now, it is even more important to keep it straight. I'm not sure we can have people changing them without issues.

    Sounds logical.
    Understood.

(BTW, Spell-Check evidently doesn't monitor Thread Titles)

    Thanks for the information!

LWM, would it be possible to remove the title from the links? It really was easier to deal with for people like me who might only have a list of certain post numbers and now we can't find them because we don't know the title.
Rmus, I hope you don't mind this hijack, but I think it's related. If not, LWM can delete this post.

You can still access threads, posts, members and even forums by their numbers alone. See these links:

    The malware news subforum: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/forums/38/

A direct post link of yours: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/posts/2356764/

The text is mainly for easy recognition when looking at a link someone posts, and for better search engine indexing. But, you can leave all the descriptive part off and the link by number still works.

And, as mentioned in another post, even the old links still work:
