ewido will only run upon boot up.

If I shut down ewido to install a new program, I cannot get it to run again unless I boot up. Logging off and back on is not enough.

Is there a solution?

I tried for myself, no probs disabling and enabling again.
What's the reason btw to shut down Ewido when installing a new app.?

I can shut down EWIDO and re-start it without re-booting.

CLARIFICATION: It is ewido Guard that I could not restart from its Quick Launch icon or its exe file; however, I have discovered that by FIRST starting the ewido Security Suite, it is possible then to get the Guard to startup from an ewido popup window.

You only have to rightclick on the tray-icon to disable protection (& re-enable), no need to shutdown the guard. :)

Thanks Don.

You've been very helpful with your participation at Wilders.
