Code 4..again

Hi All

I just got the dreaded 'code 4' in the latest Spyware blaster.Turned on my 'Clean' PC this morning and it was totally stuffed with Viruses,hijackers and spy/addware..not amused

I use..

Avast freed edition
Look 'n' stop
Spyware Blaster

I ran Avast & that got a pathetic 1 virus, I found 3 more myself in the sytem folder.
Adaware got some cool ww C**P
The latest CW shredder got some more
Hijack this got a bit more.

Basically I had to use 4 seperate programs to remove something that 1 or maybe two should have done and then still do a load of 'leg work' myself.

MY question is WHY didn't Spywareblaster block it ? And what use is it to anyone if it can be disabled so easily ?

Regarding the code 4 error if it helps any one I got rid of it (and my browser hijacker at the same time) by deleting a system file called "dmgvx.exe"

That imediately fixed my problem and swb.I had tried to start swb after evey single item was deleted (loads) and that was the only one that fixed.

I am currently some what P****D off with so called security software !
