I have seen threads about Ewido scans being too slow.Seeing I only use my pc for surfing the help forums to try and learn a bit I have tried this fella's tips (http://www.bold-fortune.com/forums/index.php?act=idx) on slimming down XP pro.
Ewido full scans of C take 1 min 52 secs with ZAP,Vet av and Winpatrol running and 1 min 29 secs without.
Am I bragging,Yep I am! :)
P4,3ghz,1 g ram.
P.S. I probably wouldn't have tried slimming down XP if I didn't have a decent backup such as ghost.
