Using TI 8, build 937....
I had to utilize the following procedure to get a rescue cd to work. No problem. But at least one post here (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=99383)
says that doing so disables USB support in the rescue console... I do not currently have backups on a USB device (got a stack of cd's), but will be buying a USB hard drive for that very purpose...
Does the following procedure disable USB support? If so, is there a workaround or fix? Since I don't have a USB HD now, I can't really test it... Would a USB card reader be a fair test?

II. Problems with Acronis bootable rescue media (the full version) or Acronis Startup Recovery Manager. The diagnostics requires the full version of Acronis bootable rescue CD.
Please try the following workaround:
Please boot your computer from the Acronis True Image rescue disc (the full version) and press F11 key when the "Starting Acronis Loader..." message appears. After you get the "Linux kernel command line" prompt, please modify it in the following way:
quiet acpi=off noapic
