I have send several 479 mb. files on gmail. ;) but it depends on the type of attachment as to how big it can be. The standard is 10mb's but like I said I have sent almost 500mb attachments

Hi again iceni60,

I've used Rapidshare and Yousendit often, and still do. Also Imageshack is great for Uploading pictures for accessing in many different ways.

I have never had any problems with any of them.

A question i've wondered about though, how long do the images stay on Imageshack ?

I use Yousendit and satisfy with it. But it keeps the files for one week or for 7 downloads I guess. Also imageshack is great for picture uploads and picture shows in forums.

from what i have read once people find yousendit they stay with it. 7 days should be fine if you are just sending it to 1 or 2 people.

Can i ask how did you manage this. Was it anything special you did when attaching the file.

Thanks

I attached three security programs and an antivirus suite, It sent pretty quick because of my cable connection but my friend on the other end with a slow DSL said it took for ever to download. It might have been since it was four seperate files? But they all went at the same time.
