View Full Version : NOD32+TDS-3 vs Kaspersky et al ???

I'm considering various security options for my computer on a trial basis before I buy. Currently I'm trying out NOD32 + TD3 (since I've heard that NOD32 isn't great at detecting Trojans).

How does this option compare to other possibilities such as KAV, etc.? I run WinXP on an Athlon XP @ 1262 mhz, with 512 meg of DDR memory, so I would rate my system as "high average"--ditto for my level of computer sophistication.

Thanks!

Seems a very solid combo to me.

A matter of opinion. I for one am a strong believer in layered defenses. Therefore, in my opinion it's preferable not to put all eggs in one basket and going for just one security software.

::)Oops!!

Thanks for the input. Of course, I meant to type "TDS-3" but my fingers didn't quite keep up. Might run a scan on my own cerebral operating system.
