Version 2 Update

Aloha everyone,

All of us are anxious of the new release of NOD32 version 2. I have a question on how to update to version 2. Currently, I have the version 1 installed and do I need to first uninstall the current one and download the future version 2 from Eset website? Or do I just click on the Update now button in the Control Center? Or would it be a silent upgrade like how the virus database gets updated?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi jsurfers,

our plans are not to force the NOD32 users to update to v2 immediately. The v2 will be avialable on the Web and who wants - can test it and/or change it. There will be no need to uninstall v1 - v2 can be reinstalled over v1.
