I have the same error as this user here: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=98006
When I install EULAlyzer, I can update it and use it as much as I want until I close the program.. When I try to launch it again, won't work.
I'm running Windows XP with Service Pack 2, Norman AV, Norman Firewall, Ad-aware SE Personal, SpywareBlaster, SpyBot S&D and as a analyzer I use HiJackThis. As a browser I use Firefox. I also have finnish Windows, maybe that's the problem?
I definately don't have any malware on the system.
{QUOTE-> After running EULAlyzer, checking for updates, and closing the program, does the program:
1.) Show that error again no matter how many times you try to start it up?
2.) Show that error after a reboot? <-QUOTE}
1) Show that error again no matter how many times you I to start it up.
Ideas? Looks like a great piece of software ;)

Hi,
Are you experienced with browsing your registry using regedit (or another similar tool)?
If yes, could you please locate the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EULAlyzer\Settings
and check for a "UC1" value inside it?
If you find it, can you please let me know what it says? (After you do so, please try deleting that key and starting EULAlyzer.)
Also, if you wouldn't mind, could you please e-mail me at bugreports@javacoolsoftware.com and reference this thread and the username you used here? Thanks! :)
Best regards,

Cheers for the help Javacool.. :)
Yup, found the key.
When I double-click on the key, it says the following:
name of the value:
UC1
data of the value: 2005-09-18
Do I email only the username and link of this thread? And should I delete the UC1 key now?
Thanks again,
Rawe ;)

Okay, I deleted the key. EULAlyzer works for me again. I just tested if the problem was with the update feature.. Tried updating, closed the program and tried to launch it again. Wouldn't work. Deleted the UC1 key again (it came back), works again. Seems like I need to do manual updating then, when an update comes out?

Yep. And also, if you can think of any other information to include that might help, please feel free to do so. :)
(I may have a new version for you to test in a week or so.)

Hi,
The check for updates feature actually just notifies you when an update is available. (It doesn't download the latest version itself, but provides a link for you to do so.)
But yes, it does look like you'll have to keep an eye out for 1.1 yourself. :) (Although, again, I may have a new test version of the program for you sometime soon.)

I still cant seem to get past the run time error!
I have tried everything, Uninstalling, reinstalling deleting the reg. key as stated above. Same thing! ERROR. I think this program is a good idea but if we cant run it, then it is useless!

Hi,
Do you have the latest version of EULAlyzer? (1.1 - Build 126?)
Please try re-downloading the install package from the website: http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/eulalyzer.html
Best regards and thanks,
