Can somebody please confirm (or otherwise) that the reason I'm seeing:

__________ NOD32 1.1213 (20050909) Information __________

This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system.
http://www.eset.com

__________ NOD32 1.1213 (20050909) Information __________

at the end of every email is that I'm using proxy spam filtering software (K9). I remember seeing a similar question some time ago but I can't find it in the archives.

Many thanks.

Thanks for the pointers.

One slight worry: if at some time in the future I decide not to use K9, I may forget to change the port back to 110 and therefore incoming email will not be scanned.

I understand that that's my problem but it wouldn't be difficult for IMON to check for duplicates. Any support for this approach? When you get to my age,the memory's not as good as it used to be ;)
