How would you make CRC work for items other
then in C: i just can't get it to work like let's say
i have Ad-Aware in my E:\ how would i add it to
the CRCfiles.txt if & when you have the time

welcome here!
You can use the full path, no matter if you're on particion C or Z :)
You've seen the instruction FanJ wrote,
TDS > Edit Config Text Files > CRCfiles.txt , open and add whatever you like to add there, save, and do your CRC check whenever you like.

it would have helped if when i added Ad-Aware
that i put the # 6 in there as well oh boy

I was away the weekend, and only recently got back and saw your posting just a few minutes ago; sorry.

Please feel free to ask your question, and I will be glad to try to help you (if you like to do it through IM, feel free !).

Let's take for example the reflist.
By default it is here:
C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-aware 6\reflist.ref

But you wrote that you have it in another partition.
That is no problem.
As Jooske wrote: you need to put the full path to a file in your file crcfiles.txt

Do you have the directory in which you have put AdAware?
