Just installed latest Kaspersky Personal Pro 5.0383
New too Kaspersky - so bear with :)

Looking on the kaspersky site, i saw the extended & supersecure(redundant) database options.

Anyway ,i had already selected redundant database in KAV options and updated KAV with no problems.

Looking in the bases folder, I could not find riskware.avc, pornware.avc, adware.avc, x-files.avc.

Have these files been renamed?

Do i need to alter any updater settings?

OR simply clicking on update now link in KAV, will
automatically download the extended database sigs needed?

If i don't have to do anything, why are riskware.avc,pornware.avc,adware.avc,x-files.avc not downloading?

Thanks

Noobster there is no redundantbases available anymore, in "Threats & exclusions" you can change between the standardbases & extendedbases, if you choose the redundant option you will just get the extended anyway. ;)

I believe these names were given to the bases sometime in March, right?
