Help, Please! Weatherbug+NOD32

Hi Everyone, I recently subscribed for a year for a weather program called Weatherbug. My antivirus "NOD32" keeps finding it as "adware". I cannot seem to get NOD32 to not find Weatherbug as adware, and because it has, it now has screwed up my Weatherbug program where some of the features do not work or are working inproperly.

My question today is, what could I do for NOD32 to not detect it running and installed? Again, that is a weather program called Weatherbug.

It is finding weather bug as adware because it is adware. but you should be able to have nod ignore it.

My first step is disabling detection of "archives" which was what it called Weatherbug in the "Threat Log" so I disabled it in 2 "monitors" called "IMON" and "DMON" which both found it as an archive... hope this works.

Did you run a trial of Weatherbug with no warnings?

Can't you just exclude the Weatherbug folder or the Weatherbug.exe file from scanning?. I did both and it worked for me... :o ;D

I run the free version of Weatherbug on my computer. The only part that gives me trouble with NOD32 is the installation program, which seems to be an ActiveX program, "MiniBugTransporter", or something like that. All I have to do is to disable the adware detection during installation, choose a "Custom" installation so I do not install the MySearch Toolbar, and I am good to go!

Once installation is complete, the installation program is no longer needed. I go to "C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files", right-click on the MiniBugTransporter, and choose Remove. A scan of the hard drive with NOD32 would find this file anyway as "adware", so I just delete it myself.

As it is, Weatherbug is running just fine on my computer, with no need to set up any exclusions. I have also reenabled the NOD32 adware detection, and Weatherbug comes out clean. I suspect the installer is labeled as adware because of that MySearch Toolbar that comes bundled.
