I"ve seen yesterday the av-comparatives test results and even that firstly I was a little angry because NOD32 was again No.3 then I realised it has been significantly improved since the latest on-demand test.

So I want to congratulate you and keep going that way!

Anyway , I have a sugestion: I think it will be a good ideea to add to your signature database alll the Trojans and script viruses you've missed to this test and thus NOD will have a better detection rate! ;)

Thank you for your kindness to read my post and please let me know about your decision!

Well, I haven't seen any major update containing those viruses missed and also no ESET Mod answer my topic. :(

I would say Eset don't care about some zoo virii you won't ever meet...
(that was true until now, latest AV-comp review seems to show the contrary).
Proactive detection ITW or fast response time in case of a "real" threat is more important I think.

Yes, but what do u say if u came across an old virus that NOD32 doesn't detect? And I have this kind of viruses, sent them to ESET and they didn't add them. Anyway I have to admit..they've improved since the latest av-comparatives.

I heard from Macros that old virus are obsolute now and no longer destructive or something like that. I got a few varients of old viruses that were submitted some months ago and they didn't get added too.

Well, maybe they are obsolete, but then why are they added to the av-comparatives tests ???

This ITW/ZOO thing is full of crap which i don't buy. Malware is malware and i don't care how rare it is. Sometimes it's enough just one of these "rare" crappies to wreck your PC...

Totally agree with you, RejZor!
