hi all
I'm wondering if any one knows anything about this particular subject
see currently I have a 64mb gforce 4 graphics card however being an avid gamer I feel that this really isn't powerful enough to play most of the current games a good example is x 2 this game turns in to a slide show in a fire fight with my current card and that's with the graphics turned down
now where my quandary comes in is knowing if my power supply would be able to handle a more powerful graphics card because obviously the more powerful the card the more juice its going to draw
and I was wondering if someone could help me work out if my power supply is going to be sufficient now I know just knowing the overall wattage of a supply isn't enough and there is a lil maths involved to work out the max load that a given supply can out put at any give voltage level but I don't really understand this so would someone be able to explain it simply
