LnS & KAV IDS not working!

hi all!

Although i have enabled real-time protection against network attacks in KAV Pro 5.0.383 by checking the appropriate box, I don't receive warning from this module while with other FW like Jetico or Kerio 4.2 it would seem to work correctly.

Probably is necessary an appropriate rule in LnS internet filtering that allows the process Kavsvc.exe to connecting itself towards the outside.... ( on which doors this process is listening? )

any hints?

Not sure why you want to enable KAV's IDS, particularly on a standalone workstation, when you have any software firewall installed.

"Important: IDS is a part of the firewall, and it cannot replace a fully functional firewall on your computer. Kaspersky Labs recommends you to use this system (Intrusion Detection System) only if you do not have a personal firewall on your PC. In order to have full control over network activity on your computer (control over applications' network activities, packet filtering) we recommend to use a fully functional personal firewall"
