DG-Defragmenter v2.05 (http://www.beoncorp.com/dgdefragmenter.html)

-{ Quote: "Windows files fragmentation. The problem...
Even in the modern age of fast and inexpensive hardware configurations, Windows performance is still dependent on its file administration processes. File fragmentation is still the most common problem. Over time, files keep into disk will splitting up into small pieces due to repeated modification and saving. They are then scattered over the entire hard disk. Retrieving these files entails far more time than necessary with fragmented files, as each individual piece has to be found and read.

The rescue...
DG-Defragmenter, a high performance defragmenter which built on top of full DOS based defrag engine "DirMS.exe". 6 difference defrag options will suit each particular partition format . In addition, the software include a disk benchmarking utility, "HD-Tune" plus a files cleaning utility, "Find Junk Files". Thus, with an integrated environment for all 3 utility-programs, you can now easily perform disk cleaing chore then defrag up to 3 drive letters simultaneously. Then benchmark your hard disk and see the difference! All tasks can be completed with few mouse click only !!

System requirements:
Minimum system requirements,

All versions of Windows 2000 and XP.
PentiumII 450Mhz and above.
20MB available free disk space.
128MB RAM.

Any good? Better than Windows XP defrag utility?

I defragged a drive in Normal 'Standard mode' last night; it seems to work faster than the Windows utility.

For NTFS drives it's probably best to select the Advanced 'By location mode'. It'll take longer, perhaps, but it moves everything to the front of the drive, maximizing uninterrupted free space.

Note: The current release is v2.6.3, not 2.05.
