Port Explorer v1.620 is now available! This has been a highly anticipated release with the inclusion of, amongst other things, a new customer-requested feature.
Here are the main improvements (see the help file Whats New section for full details):
- New feature: Bandwidth Throttling, allows you to restrict the speed of data being sent and/or received by individual sockets and processes.
- Increased speed of Ping and Traceroute, also increased information displayed from Traceroute.
- Evaluation version now has very few restrictions (all minor), and now has Socket Spy packet-sniffer as well as Bandwidth Throttling capabilities fully included.
- Improved trojan/hidden server detection.
- Various other enhancements, a couple of minor bugfixes.
The free evaluation download and full licensed versions of Port Explorer v1.620 are both available now for download at http://www.diamondcs.com.au/portexplorer/
Registered members should go into the Members Area of the Port Explorer website to download the full version - as always, this is a FREE upgrade for all licensed users.
