Hi,

I am using migrate easy to copy contents of a 6ogb hdd (mostly empty, WIN XP OS installed) to a 40GB HDD on USB.

All is OK until the portion where the reboot happens to start migrate task.

Then I get the error "Cannot find disk" "Press any key to reboot" message.

I have tried this on another laptop of mine as a test and it works flawlessly.

What should I do?

Thanks
Krishnan

Hello Krishnan,

Thank you for choosing Acronis System Transferring Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/migrateeasy/).

First of all, please make sure you use the latest (619) build, which is available on our web site at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/my/products/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download.

If the problem persists with the latest build please install the below update with disabled logging:

http://www.acronis.com/files/support/SnapAPI_l_s_e.exe

This should solve the problem.

Thank you.
