Drive Compatability Questions

Two questions please.

1) Is True Image compatable with the newer la cie external DVD burners?

2) Can an image be burned to, and read from, a dvd +/- rw (rewriteable) disk?

Thank you for your reply. I am already a registered owner of True Image 8.0. It's just that some information is not as easy to find on your site as it might be (either that or I'm just dense - a distinct possibility :) ).

So as I understand it there will be no problem with the software recognizing the external la cie drive - is that correct? Thanks again.

We were not reported about any problems with your model and there should be no problems. However, we haven't tested Acronis True Image 8.0 with this particular device that is why we recommend that you download free trial version from our site (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/download/trueimage/).
