FIREFOX downloads in JAPANESE!!!!!!!!

Greeetings from japan
When I download the english Languge or british language installation of Firefox the firefox browser is in Japanese.
My guess it immediately defaults to my country of location.
I also dowloaded from a USA site which I thought would wok but after installation it was in Japanese.

How can I get the browser to be in English.?????

I have done it myself sometime ago but cant recall what I did , though it took hours to stumble across the solutuion.

I can search ok but sometines I like to change prefereces and I cant read Kangi or hiragana

Hey samuri can't you just go Tools, Options, Languages and select the language to decode pages from there?

That was the firsrt thing I did.it dont work.Firefox is in Japanese

Sorry but, now I'm stumped.

Have you tried changing your settings in Control Panel, Regional and Language Settings?

You said you've tried downloading off an English site but I thought I should give you this to try anyways
