I have two questions about filtering rules

1. I want to know what's the different between application filtering and Internet filtering.
2.There are too many rules in the LnS offical website, if I don't import this rules about softwares, can I use these softwares ? Or use it to download something?

I am bad at English, I am a Chinese middle school, this is my first thread, I have many questions, please help me.Thank you!

2. if you want to use a specific software between those present in the list, you must import the corresponding rules otherwise you could have difficulty to make it to work correctly.

Instead, for programs not in the list, you must create the appropriate rules taking advantage of the log or using Rule Edition dialog box
