OS Selector don't recognise my windows xp pro

I have just installed disk director suite and on load there is a os selector which should let me select which os i want. Currently i have only windows xp pro on the comp and meaning to install windows 2000 later.

On the first time i tried this new software, i could select Windows XP Pro, there was a hard drive problem of some sort and it needed to scan the HDD, i allowed it and as it rebooted and the acronis os selector loaded the second time, the option to select my hard drive has gone, all that left is boot from floppy.

Any way to boot from floppy to boot my HDD, any help would be promising !

The hard drive is a maxtor 80gb, only one partition on it containing windows xp pro.

Please help i don't want to format my computer!

Please fix MBR using either Windows Installation CD or one of the methods described at Acronis Help Post (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317). After that please install Acronis OS Selector once again and it will find both of your operating systems. If you have Acronis OS Selector bootable CD you may boot the computer with it, then deactivate and activate Acronis OS Selector to fix the problem.
