cannot run Spyware blaster

I have downloaded v 2.5.3 only to find that when I try to run it I get a message "Run Time Error 339" - "MSCOMCTLOCK is missing". The same message comes up no matter which site I download from. I am running Win ME and had this program and was pleased with it before I had to re-install my software.
Please someone , help!!!!!
