I'm not sure, but maybe you can use a CD-RW to make a bootable CD through Nero. Just put all the same files that you find on the boot disk.
It *should* work that way :-\

Nero is the way to go. If you don't have Nero, go to www.bootdisk.com. He has some neat stuff over there that I have been using for years.

Open nero express>data>botable data disk>add
now select the contents of the bootable diskette
click add then finish
tick "read boot disk in drive" select A:\1.44MB
click next>burn

what purpose you need the boot disk for?. no need to install it. it wont install anyway. you only need to insert it in its drive and boot/restart.

Hi Jessica,
You want to burn to CD because you have no floppy drive, is that correct? Could you please inform the posters trying to help what you downloaded and from where, the burning soft you have installed for this task, and whether you're on a desktop or laptop?
Details go a long way! ;)

Jessica,
Here are some detailed instructions for Nero 5:
http://www.bootdisk.com/nero.htm
If you are using Nero 6, then start Nero Express. It is pretty straight forward. You just need a boot floppy with an operating system on it. Nero will copy the operating system from the floppy to the CD. Bootdisk.com has a ton of boot floppies that you can download. Just pick the OS version you need.
Hope this helps.
