I get a notice from PG that "ctfmon.exe was blocked from creating a global xxxx hook" cbt hook, shell hook, getmessage hook are the ones listed.

How should this be handled? What is ctfmon.exe?

cftmon is an MS app that deals with language and speech, some programs require it to perform correctly. If you are getting no problems then just ignore the alert if not allow global hooks for cftmon.
