Hello,
I downloaded the trial to confirm whether Director can resize my filesystems after online capacity expansions on a 3ware 9500 card.
Director won't even recognize/display the filesystems on the >1TB LUNs. Also LUN Properties displays negative numbers for size etc.
Is this an issue with the trial software or a limitation of the actual product? Is there a way to use the Acronis Director to resize >1TB filesystems (yes, smaller than 2TB) under XP Pro?
thanks

Hello htpcSol,
Thank you for your interest in Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/diskdirector/).
Both full and trial version should work properly with partitions less than 2Tb. Could you please describe what error you get when you launch Acronis Disk Director Suite 9.0? Also please clarify what file system you use.
Thank you.

Ilya,
well apparently Director has a problem recognizing my 3ware partitions. In the picture below, you'll see 2 LUNs, each slightly bigger than 1TB. Each one of them has 1 NTFS filesystem and yet Director does not show the filesystems. Also, properties for the drive show negative numbers as you can see.
Please advise on whether this product can handle the 3ware partitions and resize the filesystems on them and how to do so (doesn't seem to work by default)..
regards

Hello htpcSol,
The problem is that Acronis Disk Director Suite doesn't support dynamic disks. That is why all the data concerning these disks may be incorrect. We are currently working on the implementation of dynamic disks support and this feature will be released in future versions of Acronis Disk Director Suite 9.0.
Thank you.
