Defenses against Shadow Walker

Any software developers developing a defenses against Shadow Walker http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1895,1841266,00.asp?

I suspect that this type of malware can probably only be blocked. Scanners might not ever be able to detect this one.

This program is scary....Can you see something like this combined with something like Coolwebsearch? The only solution would be a reformat.
