AdAware SE Plus Updates

The number of updates has really increased recently. For awhile there, updates got kind of rare. In fact, I thought the company might go bust based on the lack of updating.

But recently, updates all the time.

Is AdAware SE Plus still considered a top product?

Do many here use it?

I believe, in terms of comercial AS's, most here use Counterspy. Webroot Spysweeper is quite recommended. The vast majority have the free AS's as backup : spybot, ad-aware, and MSAS.

Not sure how much you pay for Ad-Aware SE Plus. It's not a bad AS, but there are ones with better detection rates.

well I started to dislike the program because all it ever finds was MRU's.
and for a while thats all it did was clean my MRU's. but yesterday it found 7 traces of alexa in my registry that other apps did not find. I think they are
starting to improve some what. maybe someone kicked them in the rear.
or there eyes are opening to the real threats of todays internet.

Maybe your system was clean, thats why it didnt pick up anything ''bad''
